Friday Homeschool Classes

Barbara’s Conservatory offers classes in ballet and liturgical dance for the homeschool community. These sessions will be held on Fridays in 10-week sessions.  There is no enrollment fee.  Ballet shoes and comfortable clothing or dancewear is needed.

(PRICE FOR 2026-27 TO BE UPDATED SOON!) per 10 class session payable at the first class. Dancers may enroll in more than one class per session.

The homeschool ballet class will instruct the dancers in the classic five foot positions, arm movements, and work on the dancer’s sense of rhythm and grace. The liturgical class explores different styles of movement used for Christian worship. This class will have performances in December and March with the other liturgical classes at Barbara’s. Dancers in liturgical will also need pink ballet flats and pink tights for that performance.

Friday 11:45-12:30 – Ballet dance for 4-7 years old

Friday 12:30-1:15 – Liturgical dance (worship dance) for 4-7 years old

Friday 1:15-2:00 – Liturgical dance (worship dance) for 8-12 years old

Friday 2:00-2:45 – Ballet dance for 8-12 years old
