Holly began her life as a dancer at age three.  Holly's dance education began in Topeka, KS at Barbara's Conservatory of Dance where she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern dance forms.  Beginning in middle school and through her high school career Holly was a company dancer for Ballet Midwest, a non-profit ballet company in Topeka.   She performed in many lead roles in the company's annual Nutcracker Ballet and several other full length ballets under the artistic direction of Barbara Ebert. 

Continuing her devotion to dance, Holly attended the University of Kansas and received her Bachelor of Arts in the Fine Arts in Dance in December 2006.  While at KU Holly had the pleasure of studying with and dancing in works choreographed by Patrick Suzeau, Muriel Cohan, Willie Lenoir, Joan Stone, Sarah Stackhouse, Bill Evans, Kate Skarpetowska, Patrick Corbin, and Wally Cardona. She has taken master classes with Parsons Dance Company, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Beijing Modern Dance Company, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Diavolo, Doug Varone, Tulsa Ballet, Ballet Boys, and Armitage Gone Dance.

Holly started her professional performance career with Kacico Dance in February of 2008. While with the company Holly has studied with Kacico’s founding artistic director Michelle Diane Brown and other artists including Peter Kalivas, Rebecca Bryant, Julie Rothschild, and Suzanne Ryan Strati.   Starting in 2010, along with Allison McKinzie and Maggie Nicholls, Holly became Co-Artistic and Co-Executive Director of Kacico Dance.  With this new role Holly has helped preserve and execute the mission of Kacico dance and the survival of the company’s involvement in the Kansas City community.  Holly is building her choreography portfolio and has presented work among the company’s shows to include: Little Red Riding Hood: A Newfangled Prairie Tale 2010/2012, The Inspired Project: KC Fringe Festival 2010, “Transition” at the Gem Theatre 2010, Song and Dance Project 2011, “6 Impressions” at the Carlsen Center 2011, “Tinted Shadows” at the H&R Block City Stage Theatre, and Song and Dance Project 2013.

Along with her artistic involvement, Holly is contributing to the efforts of the company with administrative support and execution in areas of booking and touring, marketing and publicity, grant writing, fundraising, project management, and served as Secretary of Kacico Dance Board of Directors from 2010 through 2012 and currently serves as the Treasurer. Holly has administrative support and extensive customer service experience extending from her employment with The University of Kansas Office of Admissions and Scholarships and Visitors Center (2003-2006), Washburn Endowment Association (2007), and employment in the Service Industry (2008-Present).

Along with Holly's performance career she is an instructor of dance. She has taught at Barbara's Conservatory of Dance in Topeka, KS (2001-2002; 2007), Academy of the Arts in Shawnee and Overland Park, KS (2008-2009), National Dance Alliance (2002-2004) and All About Dance by Katye in North Kansas City, MO (Present).
